About us
Miriam Thiel was born 1970 in Zurich and grew up in Bremen. After flying as a stewardess for an international airline and living in NY, London and Rom, she went to Hamburg to study script writing under Hark Bohm at the Hamburg Media School.
After her studies she worked as a producer, freelance scriptwriter and student coordinator at the film school. Miriam has also develops some unusual concepts for script writing workshops, which she organised and led at the women’s prison in Hamburg, in Palestine, and at the university and community college in Bremen. 2010 she started to produce and direct her own short films and 2011 she founded her film production company B-Story Productions under which she wrote, produced and directed her short film Transit Girl.
